WELCOME

Based in the San Fernando Valley, Pack 88 helps boys with varying abilities enjoy Cub Scouting. Parents and Cub Scout leaders provide our "pack" with fun-filled, worthwhile programs in a safe and supportive environment. Our boys learn life values while participating in various scouting programs . The pack is part of the Las Colinas District of the West Los Angeles Council. The pack is assisted by Boy Scouts from troops within the West Los Angeles Council. Meetings are held the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month at the Paul Weston Center AbilityFirst . 6530 Winnetka Avenue Woodland Hills, California 91367 Throughout the year the boys will participate in activities with other packs.

"BioBlitz"

    BioBlitz is a 24-hour event in which teams of scientists, volunteers, and community members join forces to find, identify, and learn about as many local plant and animal species as possible. National Geographic and the U.S. National Park Service are planning a series of ten annual BioBlitzes around the country.

In 2008, a BioBlitz will take place in the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area, presented and sponsored by National Geographic and the National Park Service in collaboration with Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy and California State Parks.
